TYPES OF WORK PERMIT & EMPLOYMENT PASSES
These are for foreign professionals, managers and executives who are highly skilled in their own field and need to have acceptable qualifications and earn a minimum of $4,500 a month.
These are for middle level skilled staff and can be for skilled technical positions or management position whose working experience, salary and qualification are not eligible for Employment pass criteria. They will need to earn at least $2,500 and meet ministry of manpower assessment criteria.
These are for semi-skilled foreign workers from Malaysia or an approved source country. Work permit workers mainly hold junior positions in the construction, manufacturing, marine, process or services sector.
For spouses and children of eligible Employment pass or S pass holders. Eligible dependant’s pass holders may be able to work in Singapore if they find jobs.
Letter of Consent
A Letter of Consent allows a Dependant’s Pass holder or an LTVP/LTVP+ issued by ICA to work in Singapore.
